  • 1808 John Colter Stone
    Discovered in South Leigh Canyon, Teton Valley
  • Pierre’s Rendezvous Battle Journal Accounts
    This historic Native American battle was fought in Teton Valley. There were two additional local battles.
  • The Yellowstone Bandit’s Pistol
    Ed Trafton’s story: The gentleman bandit who robbed 19 stagecoaches in one day. Trafton’s lived in Teton Valley during his exploits of the late 1800s and early 1900s.
  • Sam Idaho Mining Display
    During the early 1900’s, the town of SAM, located near brown bear coal mine in horseshoe canyon, was home to over 200 people. Mining cars, equipment, and photos are on display.
  • Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Artifacts Room
    Numerous exhibits including the first flag that flew in Teton Valley.
  • Veterans’ Tribute Room
    We are soliciting pictures of servicemen who served from Teton Valley.

We are gathering a collection of furniture used in various places through the history of Teton Valley.

Scanning Project Teton Museum
Scanning of historic photographs & portraits for a CD history library is ongoing. Microfilm of the Teton Valley News from 1909 – 1960. Indexing has been completed from 1909-1939.
