The Teton Valley Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in the development and preservation of the Valley. While it advocates commerce and the business enterprises of its members in particular, it also manages important public projects.
- The Chamber manages the Teton Scenic Byway Advisory Committee charged with the maintenance and enhancement of this magnificent roadway. It has recently completed a Corridor Management Plan recommending access to sixteen scenic and historic sites to improve the experience of the traveler.
- The Chamber acts as a Grantee under the State of Idaho Travel Council lodging tax program.
- The Chamber has recently initiated a Teton Valley Economic Development Council as a citizen forum to analyze and act on major public issues. See the website for more information.
- The Chamber is presently coordinating the construction of the Greater Yellowstone Geotourism Center in support of the National Geographic Society’s Center for Sustainable Destinations Greater Yellowstone Map Project.
