With abundant world-class Nordic ski trails, and a handful of nationally recognized Nordic events, skiers from around the world are beginning to learn a previously well-kept secret: Teton Valley is becoming a world-class Nordic skiing destination.
A big factor in this reality is the existence of a dedicated Nordic skiing community that includes individual efforts, non-profit organizations, and corporate friends who open private lands to Nordic Trails. Teton Trails and Pathways, a non-profit organization, grooms about 50 km of classic and skate-style Nordic trails in five different locations, including Teton Canyon and other public trails in Alta, Driggs, and Victor.
Between the world-class trails and annual events, Nordic skiers have many options in Teton Valley.
